My Impressons of Greece

by Oksana Koudryavtseva

The bright sun… The blue clear sea… A piece of ancient times… It’s Athens ! And we were there from 17 th till 23 rd of October! It was IX DSAMUN Conference. As for me, it was my second time there, because after participating in DSAMUN last year I decided to come there again for sure! I like DSAMUN because here we have an opportunity not only to take part in the conference but also to enjoy some of numerous sightseeing of Ancient Greece! We visited Acropolis, a must-see place in Athens , then we went to ancient cities of Nemea and Nafplion, where we climbed the mountain to visit an old castle there. We were also able to enjoy the beautiful view of the city! I’ll never forget it myself!

The last days of our visit in Athens were really warm and we even had an opportunity to swim in the sea. Can you imagine – it was cold, rainy October in Ivanovo and we were enjoying the beautiful, sunny days in Greece?

Talking about the conference it was also great fun! There were a great number of students from 14 countries. And it’s really pleasant to point out that one of the most important people on the students’ staff, the Deputy President, was the guy from our Group – Ivan Krisanov . I’d like to say that he did a great job and everyone from our delegation tried to do his/her best. I can talk about this conference forever but I think that the only opportunity to feel the same is to go there next year yourself! Do it and you will never regret it!

To make a conclusion I’d like to thank a lot our MUN Director, Mrs. Tatyana Taganova, who made this trip for us possible!
